Brooklyn/New York-based stylist Katie James is known for her ease within naturally developed experiments in placement. After working for many years as a wardrobe stylist, she now toggles back and forth between manipulating fabrics and soft goods on and off the human figure.
Collaboration being a thru-line of her working method, she invites her clients to share as partners in the creation of imagery that surrounds human relations & conversational style. Remaining powerful but understated, her style plays upon being able to connect with the crew + creatives on set. She is intentional with choice and intuitively discovers what is pleasing along the way, attracted to random surfaces, objects, and shapes.
